You are invited to participate in The Arts Council For Wyoming County’s Quilt and Fiber Arts Festival 2008. This festival will be held at the Highbanks Recreation Area in Letchworth State Park.
The Show will take place, Saturday July 12th and Sunday, July 13th from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm daily.

The Arts Council will be presenting a Friday evening lecture, July 11th taught by Joen Wolfrom.  Free to ACWC Members, $20 for Non-Members

Friday night lecture sponsored by:

Creekside Fabrics Quilts & Yarn

She will also be presenting one-half day workshops on Saturday, July 12th (Visual Coloring) and Sunday, July 13th (Creating a Scene with Pizazz)

After the morning workshops she'll be at the festival to meet and greet the patrons.

Both workshops will be held at the ACWC Gallery. Lunch will be provided both days.
Limit of 20 people per Workshop.

Package Price: $125 for both workshops. This price also includes a ticket for the Friday evening, July 11 lecture, and a special bonus: all workshop participants (only) are invited to Creekside Fabrics and Crafts, Saturday evening, July 12 at 7 pm, for a more in-depth look at colors in quilts with Joen Wolfrom. Sandy Pirdy (owner of Creekside Fabrics) will be offering sales and door prizes. Tickets for Joen’s lecture and workshops are on Sale Now and must be paid in full. NO REFUNDS!

This year we will include Fiber Arts of every kind. Guilds, Groups and individuals can participate by showcasing their Fiber Art work and by demonstrating the techniques that they use.
We invite farms to showcase their fleece animals, sheep, goats, llamas, alpacas, rabbits, etc...
Business owners are encouraged to participate by showcasing their products and services.
 

  • We will have access to two enclosed shelters, an open Pavilion, and two large tents, electricity and plenty of parking will be available.
  • Booth space will be $50.00 for both days and will only apply to individuals, groups or businesses that plan on selling merchandise.
  • The vendor’s fee will be waived for Groups and Guilds who wish to demonstrate their Art and not sell merchandise.
  • There will be plenty of space for Booth Tents and shady areas for animal pens.
