The Arts Council
for Wyoming County was founded in 1976 to provide services to artists,
engage in artistic presentation, and promote awareness and support of
the arts through advocacy. With office and a Gallery at 31 S. Main St.
in Perry, NY, ACWC hosts year-round exhibits, including the annual
Wyoming County Student Art Exhibits, a weekly classic film series, an
annual chamber concert, folk arts and historical programs, and ACWC
administers the Community Arts Grants program for Wyoming County.
Major funding is provided by the NYS Council on the Arts, the Wyoming
County Board of Supervisors, and through the generosity of membership
support.
