Films are screened at the ACWC Upstairs "East Indian" Screening Room, 31 South Main Street, Perry, and are free and open to the public.

Learn A Needle Art: Classes forming now in knitting, crocheting, quilting and a variety of fiber arts, to be held at the Arts Council for Wyoming County Gallery, 31 South Main St., Perry, NY.  Check individual calendar listings for scheduled classes and details.

Wyoming Writes writers group meets monthly. Open to all interested in writing and discussing their work. Bring suggestions for submitting work, and your own written work for sharing/feedback. 2nd - Poetry Awards -- Award winners of the Abby Sparling Memorial Poetry Contest will receive their awards at the ACWC Gallery, 7pm, with Live Music and Poetry Readings.  Free.  Refreshments

3rd - Palm of the Hand Memoir writing Workshop -- Michael Czarnecki will be sharing some of his own work and helping people write their own Memoir.  This workshop is free to the public, but space is limited.  Please call or email the ACWC to reserve your spot now.  Lunch is included.

5th - College Art Exhibit Closes

9th - Photographer John Parascak Opening -- 7pm-9pm, John will display his photography until June 6th. The ACWC will provide beverages and snacks.  Free to the public.

18th - Annual Chamber Concert, Kirkwood/Shallit Trio -- The Chamber Concert will kick off the town of Sheldon's Bicentennial Celebration.  It will take place at the St. Cecilia's Church at 991 Centerline Rd. in Strykersville starting at 6pm.  The ACWC will provide beverages and snacks after the concert.  Free to the public.

18th Helios String Quartet from Buffalo will be performing at Wyoming Inn in the historic Gaslight Village of Wyoming at 3:00 pm. The concert is free & light refreshments will be served during the intermission. Afterwards there will be a reception and an opportunity to meet the musicians. 6th - John Parascak Exhibit Closes

7th Cannonball House and Car Tour at the Farmstead of Brock and Pamela Yates.  Mrs. Yates will guide you on a tour of the gracious home, elegantly refurbished by Victorian architect Bryant Fleming; Mr. Yates, race car driver, writer, and editor will show his collection of race cars in the Carriage House. Refreshments, wine and beer will be served.  Live musical entertainment. (2-6 pm)  A Car Show will be at the Wyoming Village Park (10 am – 4 pm), also on the tour will be Bryant Flemings Bungalow on Tower Rd., the old Village Hall and Middlebury Academy (10 am – 1pm) Tickets: $35 $25 for ACWC members. 22nd Accordion Fest: featuring accordion music from Italy, Poland, Ireland, and Eastern Europe. Open mike and informal jam sessions will also be included, with display and resource information for accordion players and aficionados.  Refreshments available on site. 1 to 6 pm.
