Canyon Camera Club

Welcome to the Canyon Camera Club

Our group was started in 1948 by 6 or 7 enthusiastic people who came together to talk photography and share images with each other.  The club did not have a formal name until 1954 when the present one was adopted.  Canyon was taken from Letchworth Stat Park, often called the "Grand Canyon of the East".  Our logo depicts the train trestle over the upper falls in the park.

The members were all of this area.  We are most fortunate to have Don Carney, one of the founding members, as a very active club participant and photo enthusiast.  He is a wealth of information on photography as well as wild flowers and area topography.
